Carmel of Thérèse of Lisieux, Gilmore Avenue, New Manila, Quezon City. A place of silence, solitude and serenity. This is where I go to when I just want to forget about the world. It’s very accessible, located along Gilmore Av, just near the corner of Aurora Boulevard and the LRT-Gilmore station. Carmelite contemplative nuns reside in this quaint convent that was established by French Carmelites in 24 November 1926. The plot was located by the former haciendero family of New Manila, the Hemadys.
