Comida y Vida

Before things of the essence fly past our generation, it's best we write them down. From food, to heritage to culture, there's so much more to life! Food for the tummy, food for the soul :)

Chicken Feet… do not smell!
Kidding aside, Chicken Feet dimsum is one of my favorite dimsums. To make good Chicken Feet dimsum, the feet must be fat. They are either steamed or fried first to make them all more puffy, then they are stewed and/or fermented in a mixture of black beans, sugar and bean paste.

There’s also an ingredient that is added that makes the chicken reddish or orangey in color.

try it the next time you and your family visit a pancieteria or a Chinese resto. Filipinos love Chinese food :)
